How To Make Them
If you’ve ever wondered how to make pita chips, well it couldn’t be easier. There’s very little prep and clean up, and they come together in about 15 minutes.
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- If using pita pockets, then split them in half making single flat rounds. Use a sharp knife if needed to slice them in half to make the flat rounds.
- Using a pastry brush, brush the pita rounds on both sides with extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning and salt.
- Cut the pita rounds into triangles, slicing the pita rounds first in half, then in quarters then into 8 triangles.
- Place on the triangles on a baking sheet spacing apart just a bit so as not to crowd them so they bake evenly.
- Bake for 5-10 minutes or until they are crispy and golden in color. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
