Green Goddess Salad Dressing Recipe Ingredients

  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Anchovy fillets
  • Lemon juice
  • Fresh herbs (chives, parsley and tarragon)
  • Anchovies (optional)
  • Lemon juice
  • Garlic
  • Green onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Water (a tablespoon or two if you want a thinner consistency)

Variations

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream
  • Omit the anchovies
  • Add fresh basil instead of tarragon

How To Make Green Goddess Dressing

  1. Blend. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Refrigerate. Refrigerate the dressing up to an hour before serving so the flavors have a chance to blend together. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. If properly stored, the dressing should last up to 1 week in the refrigerator.

  • 2 anchovies fillets, rinsed and chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped 
  • 1 teaspoon fresh tarragon, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, grated or minced
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 tablespoons water if you like a thinner consistency
