Homemade Chipotle Ranch Dressing Recipe
- Mayonnaise. We use a good real mayonnaise like Best Foods (Hellman’s).
- Seasoning. We add fresh garlic and green onion together with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and freshly cracked black pepper to season this dressing with.
- Adobo Sauce. We stir in a little adobo sauce to the mix which gives this dressing an amazing flavor and a wee bit of spice. If you want a spicier dressing, then add more adobo sauce from the canned chipotle peppers 1 teaspoon at a time to taste.
- Lime Juice. We add just a little lime juice which enhances the chipotle flavor.
- Buttermilk. This adds flavor and thins the dressing out. You can use milk or water if you like.
