  • Mascarpone Cheese. We like to use Bel Gioioso brand. 
  • Sour Cream. We use whole fat sour cream for this recipe.
  • Yogurt. We use plain, unsweetened whole milk yogurt.
  • Sugar. We only use 1/4 cup of granulated sugar to sweeten it with.
  • Pure Vanilla Extract. This gives the whipped mascarpone a rich flavor.

How To Make Mascarpone Whipped Cream

  1. Measure. Add all of the ingredients to a stand mixer using the whisk attachment.
  2. Whisk Ingredients. Using a whisk attachment in a stand mixer or use a hand held mixer, whisk the ingredients together until the mixture will hold soft, smooth peaks and the consistency is like a whipped heavy cream.

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain and unsweetened whole milk yogurt 
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
