Virgin Mojito Recipe
You’ll only need a few simple ingredients to make this virgin mojito recipe.
- Mint Leaves. You’ll need 2 springs of mint for this recipe.
- Lime Juice. Freshly squeezed Lime Juice is used for this mocktail! Don’t use the store-bought bottled stuff.
- Sweetener. We use a little honey or agave to add a touch of sweetness to this drink.
- Liquid. Use whatever seltzer, soda water or sparkling mineral water you prefer, just make sure it’s also nice and chilled before serving.
- Ice cubes. Add as much ice as you like.
- Garnish. Be sure to garnish with lime wedges and more sprigs of mint.
How to Make A Virgin Mojito
This Virgin Mojito mocktail recipe couldn’t be easier to make! We don’t muddle the mint leaves for this drink, because it can cause a bitter taste and make for a swampy looking drink. So all we do, is toss a sprig of mint in each glass with lime juice, sweetener, sparkling water and ice. It’s a tasty, refreshing and pretty drink.
- Juice Limes. You’ll need the juice of 2 limes for this recipe. Strain lime juice through fine mesh into two glasses.
- Mix Ingredients. Stir honey in each glass and blend with the lime juice making a honey + lime syrup. Add a sprig of mint, ice and sparkling water to the glasses and stir.
- Garnish. Garnish each of the glasses with sprigs of mint and lime wedges.

Some limes can be tougher to juice than others, and some produce more juice than others. To get the most juice from a lime, the fruit should be room temperature or warmer. You could place them in hot water for a few minutes to warm them. Here are a few tips and tricks to get the most juice from them to add to all your favorite recipes.
- With a lime sitting on a countertop, press down hard with the palm of your hand and roll the lime back and forth a few times. This helps to break the juice away from the pulp.
- Cut the lime in half lengthwise if you are juicing by hand. It’s easier to grip when cut lengthwise.
- Cut the lime in half crosswise if you’re using a juicer or a reamer.
- Using a fork, poke the pulp a few times to loosen up the membranes to release the most juice.
- Use a reamer or juicer to extract as much juice from the fruit as possible.
- If you don’t need all the juice from the fruit at once, then you can pierce it with a toothpick or tip of a sharp knife and squeeze the juice from the opening. Then place it in an airtight plastic bag and refrigerate for future use.

- 2 limes, juiced

- 2 cups sparkling water, divided
